The Tribe of Asher
"Rich the food produced by Asher; he will furnish food fit for a king." (Genesis 49:3-4)

Jewel: Amethyst
Though the Tribe of Asher no longer exists today as an identifiable community, there were still Israelites alive at the time of Christ who were of this tribe, including the prophetess Anna (Luke 2:36). This indicates that at least some Asherites survived the Exile and returned from it to the Holy Land. It occupied the whole of the north-west of Israel and possessed the coast from Tyre in the north to Mount Carmel in the south.
