The State of Israel and the Palestinian Community

Yahweh, God of Israel, has given eternal sovereignty of Israel to David and his sons by an inviolable covenant (2 Chronicles 13:5)

And Israel has remained in rebellion against the House of David from that day to this. (1 Kings 12:19)

Ancient Arms of Dominion:
Kingdom of Judah (c. 1010 to 1003 and 930 to 587 BC)
United Kingdoms of Judah and Israel 1003 to 931 BC
The Sovereign Throne of David 587 BC to the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ
The Sovereign Throne of David from the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ to 15 May 1948

The modern State of Israel is the national home of the Jewish people and came into existence by the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel, on the eve of the Sabbath of 15 May 1948.

The entire territory of the State of Israel under international law, together with every other place which is rightly judged to belong to the Holy Land, is the home of the Palestinian Arab people and constitutes the Patrimony of David, the only lands on earth directly annexed by divine right to the Crown, whether or not it belongs under international law, or ought to belong, to the State of Israel (Ezekiel 47:13-23).

Until the day when His Majesty makes Himself known to all Israel for the sake of her salvation, the government of Israel on earth is for the time being constituted in accordance with civil law and presently has the form of a democratic Republic. It is, however, already recognised by Christian faith as the Regency of an absolute monarchy, a Messianic Kingdom with Jesus Christ as her ever-living King, to whom all allegiance and obedience is due. The Jews, as descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are by biblical right under the Old Covenant subjects of the King as His brethren according to the flesh.

Non-Jews, almost all of them Palestinian Arabs, who belong to the Holy Land on the basis of having settled there and fathered children there, are entitled under the King's law to possess and enjoy therein equal rights with Jews (Ezekiel 47:21-23). In answer to the prayer of Abraham for His son Ishmael, God promised a special blessing for his descendants the Arab nation (Genesis 17:15-22). The Palestinians are that portion of the Arab nation which God has chosen to bless by joining them to the Jewish people as subjects of the Crown of David and of His Majesty the King in the civil order, so that they may share their blessing with their blood-brothers outside the Holy Land.

The legislative, executive and judicial powers of the Crown in Israel are all vested in the Person of the King, emanate from the Crown and are distributed, according to law, among the Knesset, the Government and the judicial hierarchy. Since His Majesty is not available in Person for earthly government until He returns in glory to judge the living and the dead, He is represented in Israel by the President (Nasi), currently Mr Moshe Katsav, who resides at Jerusalem.

The President is elected by the Knesset for a term of five years, and his role is mainly ceremonial and formal. Elsewhere in the Holy Land, His Majesty is represented by authorities established by law. Pending the establishment of a Palestinian State these are, namely, the Palestinian Authority in areas assigned to its jurisdiction, and the Israeli Military Administration elsewhere, as determined under the Oslo Accords of September 1993.

HE Moshe Katsav
8th President of the State of Israel and
Regent of the Sovereign Throne of David

HE Mahmoud Abbas
2nd President of His Majesty's Palestinian Authority,
Chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, and
Regent of the Sovereign Throne of David

HE Shimon Peres
9th President of the State of Israel and
Regent of the Sovereign Throne of David

NOTE: With the induction of the HAMAS government by President Abbas on 29 March 2006, the Palestinian Authority came into material violation of the Oslo Accords of 1993, in accordance with the stated policy of HAMAS to refuse to recognise the State of Israel.

Pursuant to Article 60 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, the State of Israel is entitled at will to terminate or suspend the operation of the Oslo Accords in whole or in part as a consequence of the breach.

PRAYER FOR THE WELFARE OF HIS MAJESTY'S GOVERNMENT

"He who grants salvation to Kings and dominion to rulers, Whose kingdom is a kingdom spanning all eternities; Who releases David, His servant, from the evil sword and by an inviolable covenant sets his sons on an imperishable Throne; Who places a road in the sea and a path in the mighty waters - May He bless our Sovereign Lord the King in His heavenly place; may He bless His Majesty's Regent the President, the Prime Minister, and all the constituted officers of His Majesty's Government in this land.

"The King who reigns over Kings, in His mercy may He sustain them and protect them; from every trouble, woe and injury, may He rescue them; and put into their heart and into the heart of their counsellors compassion to do good with us and with all Israel, our brethren and with those goyim who have settled among us and fathered children among us, for it is their heritage to live among us as citizens of Israel. In their days and in ours may Judah be saved and may Israel dwell securely; for the Redeemer has come to Zion and is seated on the Throne of His father David at the right hand of the Power. So may it be His will. Now let us respond: Amen."
