The Orb of Universal Dominion
"The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our God and his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 11:15b).
"The foundations of the city wall were faced with all kinds of precious stone: the first with diamond, the second lapis lazuli, the third turquoise, the fourth crystal, the fifth agate, the sixth ruby, the seventh gold quartz, the eighth malachite, the ninth topaz, the tenth emerald, the eleventh sapphire and the twelfth amethyst." (Revelation 21:19-20)
Usually the most sacred piece in any set of Regalia is the Orb, which signifies that the whole world is subject to the power and empire of Christ the King. His own Orb, as presented to Him by Crown of David, is of gold surmounted by a cross and surrounded by a band set with precious stones in the same sequence as is given in Revelation 21:19-20.
