HM Mary (Miryam), Great Lady and Queen Mother of Judah, Israel and All the Holy Land, Princess Dowager of Judah, Mother of the Church and Ark of the Covenant, Empress of All the Americas, Protectress and Mother of Unborn Children, Patroness of the Pro-Life Movement
"Know for sure, my dearest little son, that I am the perfect and Ever Virgin Holy Mary, Mother of the True God through Whom everything lives, the Lord of all things near us, the Lord of heaven and earth. I want very much that a temple be built here for me, in which I will show Him, I will exalt Him and make Him manifest. I will give Him to the people with all my love, in my compassion, my help and protection: because I am truly your merciful Mother, yours and of all the people who live together in this land and of all others of different ancestries, those who love me, those who cry to me, those who trust in me. Here I will hear their weeping, their complaints and heal all their sorrows, hardships and sufferings." (Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego, 9th December 1531)
"Glory to the immortal Princess who freed us from great evil, and to make us happy she crushed the Serpent." (Native Mexican hymn)
It is with great joy that Crown of David announces that the Imperial Banner of Our Blessed Lady was prayerfully installed at the Centre of the Apostolate of The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Inc., 144 Sheldon Road, St. Albans, Vermont 05478, USA on the 23rd Day of December 2004, the first day of the last Octave preceding her Diamond Coronation Jubilee Year as Empress of All the Americas.
This magnificent banner measures 4 x 4 ft and is permanently on display in the presence to the Missionary Image at the Apostolate's Centre. Please visit this Apostolate and be as generous as you can in donating to it.
Crown of David has donated this Banner to the Apostolate of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe with the consent of Mr Lynch and in honour of our beloved Mother and Queen.
STATEMENT BY THE SECRETARY OF CROWN OF DAVID
Our Lady's gracious acceptance of the Crown of David Imperial Banner is a greater honour for me than I can say. This is not the first time that a coat-of-arms has been made for her or for any other member of the Holy Family, for there is in heraldry a long tradition of privately designing and making coats-of-arms for distinguished persons, real or mythical, who did not live on earth at any time since the age of heraldry began about eight hundred years ago.
In all other respects this occasion is unprecedented. I dare to say that it is, therefore, historic. It is the first time since Our Lord instituted the Blessed Sacrament, and the first since Our Lady imprinted her miraculous image on the tilma of St Juan Diego four hundred and seventy-three years ago, that any member of the Holy Family has been presented with a personal banner similar to those which members of Christian royal and imperial families once used, and those who remain still use, to indicate the place of their presence.
It is also the first time that a member of the Holy Family has been presented with a shield of arms, supported here on the King's eagle, which pays tribute to the hereditary honours which St Joseph and Our Lord Jesus Christ inherited as dynastic Princes of the Royal House of David, and which St Joseph, Prince of Judah, shares with Our Lady as his Princess Dowager. In presenting this emblem, Crown of David pays tribute also to God's perpetual faithfulness to His covenants with Abraham and David, incarnate in the virtue of patriotism which is inherent in the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
For those, myself included, to whom the Lord has provided an inheritance, it is most appropriate to thank Him by honouring Him in His: the nobility, gentility and royal dignity that accompany the hereditary Throne of David by which Jesus is King, Shepherd and Father of His native land and people.
The Lord's generosity in giving me an inheritance is the reason why this Imperial Banner is offered to Our Lady on this her special day. My Lady, my Mother and my Queen, many congratulations.
